Thanks Mezba, but I didn't enter. Although I have published a few poems, my "thing" is primarily journalism and blogging. But I am a board member of IWA and wanted to promote the contest and voting for all of our fantastic entrants!
I totally sent you an invite 3 times...after the first comment then after I got the second comment about not getting the invite and then again today as I was cleaning out the old comments.....I am not sure what is going on....
Awww man I'm sad I missed this becasue I love Islamic poems and have written a few myself and submitting them would have been awesome. Will they have another contest?

Yes, we (IWA) have a poetry contest each year to tie in with Poetry Month (April). Insha Allah I will remind you next year (sounds nice that we will be friends, Insha Allah, next year, eh?).

Salam sis!!greate project even i Couldnt imagine that such exists!! i like expressing thoughts,feelings through poetry even ALQURAN has the best verses that never can be compared or contested!!
