@ Uni - yes, I teach there. I taught pre-k and k for two years. Now, I have that small group of kids - one's in third grade, and the rest are in first grade. They're so adorable at that age.
People don't understand how important the relationship is between Muslim children and their Islaamic school teachers. You pretty much have the same relationship as their parents in their eyes. I've had my kids come to me to resolve a problem in the masjid when their parents are sitting right next to me, lol.
How sweet :)
I love the fact that they trust you so much that they prefer you taking care of their problems over their parents! It's amazing actually.
How fulfilled you must feel Alhamdulillah :)
